Maverick & Shelly, October 2025, Chinese Gardens, Darling Harbour

On 4 October 2025, I had the honour of being the wedding celebrant for Maverick and Shelly at the stunning Chinese Garden of Friendship in Darling Harbour. This hidden oasis in the heart of Sydney is one of the city’s most tranquil and romantic wedding venues – and it provided the perfect setting for a ceremony filled with love, joy, and connection.

Surrounded by serene ponds, lush greenery, and traditional pavilions, Maverick and Shelly’s ceremony was a beautiful blend of heartfelt emotion and peaceful calm.
